Bluff City Athletics in partnership with Michael Lightman Realty Co. are converting a former Malco Cinema into a premier indoor pickleball club, which will feature eight pickleball courts, a practice court, an exercise studio, a pro shop, café, and a mezzanine club house and observation deck. The design team’s strategic approach to the conversion focuses on cost-effective ways to deliver natural light to the spaces, update existing systems with energy-efficient equipment, and to level the auditorium floors for new, premium court surfaces.
